3 Killed, 4 Injured in Head-on Mishap Between Lorry and Pickup Jeep
near Nesaragi in Bailhongal taluk in the early hours on Saturday.
Pragativahini News, Belagavi : Three people including a mother and her son were killed and four injured when the jeep they were traveling in collided with a lorry at Somanatti cross near Nesaragi in Bailhongal taluk in the early hours on Saturday.
The deceased have been identified as Laxmi Kudadolli, 30, her son Kumar, 8, from Kadabi Shivapur village and Tulajanavar, 35,from Somanatti village. Injured have been shifted to District hospital.
The deceased and the injured were traveling in a pickup jeep toward Yaragatti and the lorry was to Belagavi from Yaragatti side. It was said that the mishap occurred due to the alleged negligence of pickup jeep casing for the accident.
