Police Primary Investigation Says No as Those Were Seems Not in Use More than a Decade

Pragativahini News, Belagavi : Police who recovered 4 country-made pistols from Bavakanna Patil’ agriculture field at Waghwade village in Khanapur taluk on Tuesday were not in the position to use and not used for more than ten year. Were of 50-60 year old, police have suspected.
The SIT team will arrive either Wednesday evening or Thursday morning and verify, the outdated weapon will be sent to weapon testing laboratory.
As the suspected assailants of journalist Gouri Lamkesh, Kannada writer MM Kalaburagi, Marathi writes Govind Mandate and Narendra Dabolkar were said to be trained using of pistols at Chorale village, 30 km from Vaghwade village. The SIT officials from Karnataka and Maharashtra who are investigating the respective murders occurred in their states separately, informed that the attested accused confessed to the crime, got trained in the deep forest area in Khanapur taluk.
The SIT teams have recovered 9 pistols from the accused and were 4 more yet to be recovered. The teams are expected to show the recovered pistols to the accused.
Police suspected that the recovered pistols might not use for the assassination if so those would be hidden else disposed and not throw in the field.
