Pragativahini News, Belagavi – KLE Society’s Lingaraj College Belagavi organized National Webinar on NEP 2020 A Transformative Education Policy for Aspirational India on 28th August 2020 with two eminent speakers Dr K Ramachandran and Gowrisha Joshi.
Dr Prabhakar Kore, chairman, KLE Society Belagavi delivered the inaugural address in which he showed his admiration for the New Education Policy 2020 which would transform the nerve of entire country.Dr K Ramachandran, an eminent educationist, Professor, NIEPA, and Member, Drafting Committee NEP 2020 addressed the participants on the topic Towards Holistic and Multidisciplinary Education.
In his speech he focused on importance of Holistic education and not mere reading and interpreting texts. He explained about the elasticity of New Education Policy 2020 in terms of its structure and implementation. He threw light on how NEP 2020 is learner centric through various examples. He showed high regards for KLE Society Belagavi and its 271 educational institutions across borders. He emphasized on crucial role that autonomous educational institutions play through various faculty development programmes for the tutors which help in moulding diversified students in coming years.
One more eminent speaker, Gowrisha Joshispoke about the nature, structure and working of the National Educational Policy 2020 and regulatory issues. He focused on institutional plan for holistic development of educational institutions across the country. With his inspiring words he guided the participants to explore new avenues of New Educational Policy 2020 which makes students more critical, explore institutional and moral values and team builders. Dr SharayuPotnis and Mrs Shraddha Patil compeered the webinar. Dr H.M.Chennappagol, HOD,Kannada department was the Organising secretary of the webinar. Principal DrR.M.Patil, Vice-Principal Meena Banahatti, Dr Prakash Kadkol andDr Satish Patillife members of KLE Society were present on the occasion.
