Pragativahini, Belagavi
Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgagavi, in association with Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Regional Directorate of NSS, Bengaluru, organized 7 days National Integration Camp-2018 at “Jnana Sangama”.
Over 210 NSS Volunteers from eleven states participated in the camp. The Valedictory function of the Camp was held on Thutsday. Arun Pujar, Regional Director, All India Institute of Local Self Government, Bengaluru and Prof. Chandrashekar, Registrar, Karnataka Janapada University, Haveri were the Chief Guests. Dr. Satish Annigeri, Registrar (Evaluation) of VTU presided over the function.
In his valedictory address, Arun Pujar said that “our education system has three dimensions-teaching, research and community service. Hence, youngsters should not overlook the social obligations in their student life”.
Prof. Chandrashekar opined that “achievement of happiness in life should be a goal of young generation”. In his presidential address Dr. Satish Annigeri said that “students should integrate education and ethics in their life”
K.V. Khadri Narasimhaiah, Regional Director, Regional Directorate of NSS, Bengaluru welcomed. Dr. Appasab L.V. NSS Co-ordinator of VTU proposed vote of thanks.
