Installation of New Office Bearers of Rotary Club of Belagavi South

 

 Pragativahini News, Belagavi: 

Installation of New Office Bearers of Rotary Club of Belagavi South for the year 2019-20 was held on Sunday at Shantai Vrudhashram.

PDG and RRFC Rtn Avinash R Potdar was Chief Guest and installed Rtn Jayasimha as President, Rtn SD Sayagavi as Secretary, Rtn Anand Bhukebug as Treasurer,  Directors and Chairmen of various Committees.

Speaking on the occasion Rtn Avinash Potdar said, that Rotary is an 114 years old international organization gives an adequate amount of opportunity for an individual to be responsible to the society and to contribute for its well being. He said that there will be endless satisfaction that we are able to give back to the society and connect sensibly and sensitively to the society that made us what we are.

He highlighted how Rotary has worked relentlessly for eradicating polio from the world.  He called upon the newly elected President to take up the service projects in meeting the needs of the society by connecting with them.

Assistant Governor Dr Satish Dhamankar in his remarks congratulated the outgoing President and his team for the outstanding services rendered.  Outgoing President Rtn Uday Joshi in his address thanked all the Rotarians and donors for supporting him during the year.

Outgoing Secretary Rtn Nilesh Patil presented secretarial report. On this occasion the Club has donated 50 Bed sheets to Shantai Vridhashram and felicitated the Service Providers of the Ashram.

The function began with a scintillating music concert by   Nayana Girigoudar and party.  Past Distict Governors Rtn Anad Saraf, Rtn Anand Kulkarni,  Vijay More Ex Mayor, Rotarians  were present on the occasion.

Rtn Chaitanya Kulkarni, Rtn Manoj Sutar introduced, Rtn Ramesh Ramgurwadi proposed vote of thanks. The event was compeered  by Rtn Satish Kulkarni and Ann Manjri Patil.
