ಪ್ರಗತಿವಾಹಿನಿ ಸುದ್ದಿ: “ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ, ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಕಾಲಾವಕಾಶ ಬೇಕೆನ್ನುವ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಶಿಕಕ್ಷಕರ ಸಂಘದ ಮನವಿ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಇದೇ ತಿಂಗಳು 18 ರವರೆಗೆ ಅಂದರೆ 10 ದಿನಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಅನುದಾನಿತ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ರಜೆ ಘೋಷಿಸಿದೆ” ಎಂದು ಡಿಸಿಎಂ ಡಿ.ಕೆ. ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ವರ್ಗಗಳ ಆಯೋಗವು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆ ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಕುರಿತು ವಿಧಾನಸೌಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂಗಳವಾರ ನಡೆದ ಸಭೆ ಬಳಿಕ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
“ರಾಜ್ಯಾದ್ಯಂತ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆಯ ಕುರಿತು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಭೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೇ.90ರಷ್ಟು ಜನರು ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಸಹಕಾರ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಗ್ರೇಟರ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತರಬೇತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಆಯೋಗದ ಕೆಲಸಗಳ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ತಡವಾಗಿ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಈ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆ ಮಂದಗತಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು, ಶೇ.25ರಷ್ಟು ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಐದೂ ಪಾಲಿಕೆ ಆಯುಕ್ತರು ಹಾಗೂ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಜತೆಗೆ ಸಭೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಚರ್ಚೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ” ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
“ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಒದಗಿಸಿಕೊಡಲು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಜನರು ಈ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಸಹಕಾರ ನೀಡಬೇಕು. ಈ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆನ್ ಲೈನ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿಯೂ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಬಹುದು. ನಿಮಗೆ ಇಚ್ಛೆಯಿರುವಷ್ಟು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಬಹುದು. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಒತ್ತಡ ಹಾಕುವುದಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
“ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಭಾಗದ ಜನರ ಬದುಕಿನ ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅರಿಯಲು ಕೆಲವು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಅನೇಕರು ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಭಾಗದಿಂದ ಬಂದು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇವರ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ, ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಲು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಕಾರ ನೀಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಇನ್ನು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಶಾಲಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಸಂಘದವರು ವಿಧಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ ಪುಟ್ಟಣ್ಣ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಎಂ ಹಾಗೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಮನವಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ, ನಮಗೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಕಾಲಾವಕಾಶ ಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಕೋರಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದು ಖಾಸಗಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಪಿಯುಸಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನ್ವಯವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದರು.
ನಾವು ಯಾರನ್ನೂ ವಿಭಜಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ
ಲಿಂಗಾಯತ ಧರ್ಮದ ವಿಚಾರವಾಗಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ನಲ್ಲೇ ಭಿನ್ನಮತವಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ, “ನಾವು ಯಾರನ್ನೂ ವಿಭಜಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಈ ವಿಚಾರ ಆ ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಬಿಡುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಈ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ವಿಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಮಧ್ಯಪ್ರವೇಶ ಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾವು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆ ವಿಚಾರವಾಗಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ಅವರ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಗುರುತು ಕೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಇದರ ಹೊರತಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ಬೇರೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವುಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನಾವು ಚಿಂತಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
10 days holiday for government and aided schools to allow teachers to take part in Social and Educational survey: DCM DK Shivakumar
Bengaluru, Oct 7: Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar today said that the state government has declared holiday of 10 days till October 18 for government and aided schools to enable teachers from these schools to participate in the Social and Educational survey.
Addressing a press conference on the progress of the Social and Educational Survey at Vidhana Soudha, he said, “The Karnataka State Primary School Teachers’ Association had appealed to the government to declare holiday so that the teachers can participate in the survey as enumerators. In this backdrop, the state government has declared a holiday for 10 days.”
“We held a meeting under the leadership of the Chief Minister to review the progress of the Social and Educational survey. As much as 90% of the people have cooperated for the survey in rural areas and the government would like to thank them. We started the survey in the Greater Bengaluru area a little later due to the training of the Election Commission work. Twenty five percent of the survey is completed in Bengaluru. We held a meeting with the Commissioners of all the five corporations and officials of the Education department,” he explained.
“The government is conducting this survey to provide justice to everyone. I urge Bangaloreans to cooperate with the enumerators. People can also complete the survey online. The government will not pressure anyone to participate in the survey, people can provide the information they are comfortable with,” he added.
“Some of the questions have been included to understand the lifestyle of the people in rural areas. I appeal to the people to cooperate and provide the necessary information. Karnataka Primary School Teachers’ Association President Puttanna met the CM and me and submitted an appeal. They have requested for time to participate in the survey. The holiday doesn’t apply to private schools and pre-university colleges,” he said.
We are not dividing anyone
Asked about the difference of opinion within the Congress about Lingayat dharma, he said, “We are not trying to divide anyone. We leave this to the community to decide and we will not interfere in this matter.”
