*ಬಂಡೀಪುರ ಮತ್ತು ನಾಗರಹೊಳೆ ಜಂಗಲ್ ಸಫಾರಿ: ಪೂರ್ಣ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಆರಂಭಕ್ಕೆ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ*
ಪ್ರಗತಿವಾಹಿನಿ ಸುದ್ದಿ: ತಜ್ಞರು ಮತ್ತು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ವರದಿ ಶಿಫಾರಸ್ಸಿನ ಅನ್ವಯ ಬಂಡೀಪುರ ಮತ್ತು ನಾಗರಹೊಳೆ ಹುಲಿ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಿತ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪೂರ್ಣ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಂಗಲ್ ಸಫಾರಿ (ಉದ್ಯಾನ ಪ್ರವಾಸ) ಪುನರಾರಂಭಿಸಲು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿದೆ.
ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ವರದಿಯನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನದ ನಂತರ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ ಸಾಗಣೆ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯದ (carrying capacity) ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಜಂಗಲ್ ಸಫಾರಿಗೆ ಹಸಿರು ನಿಶಾನೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಶಿಫಾರಸಿನ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿತ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜಂಗಲ್ ಸಫಾರಿ ನಡೆಸಲು ಸೂಚನೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಕರ್ನಾಟಕವು ಪರಿಸರ ಪ್ರವಾಸೋದ್ಯಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪಾರ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದು, ಸದಾ ಸುಸ್ಥಿರ ಪ್ರವಾಸೋದ್ಯಮ ಮಾದರಿ ಪಾಲಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಇದು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಮತ್ತು ಜೀವನೋಪಾಯದ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಆರ್ಥಿಕತೆಯನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸಲು ನೆರವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
ಪರಿಸರ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸಮಗ್ರತೆಯನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಜೊತೆಗೆ, ಪರಿಸರ ಪ್ರವಾಸೋದ್ಯಮವು ವನ್ಯಜೀವಿ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ, ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರ ಜೀವನೋಪಾಯ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರ ಉತ್ತಮ ಅನುಭವಕ್ಕೆ ಪೂರಕವಾದ ಪರಿಸರ ಪ್ರವಾಸೋದ್ಯಮಕ್ಕೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಬದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಸಿಎಂ ಕಚೇರಿಯ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
Jungle Safari (Park Excursion) at Bandipur and Nagarahole to Be Fully Reopened
The Government h as decided to fully reopen the jungle safari (Park Excursion) at the Bandipur and Nagarahole Tiger Reserves, based on the effective carrying capacity scientifically assessed by a Technical Committee of experts and officials.
The Technical Committee’s report has been accepted by the State government, and directions have been issued to operate the jungle safari in a regulated manner, in line with the Committee’s recommendations.
Karnataka holds immense potential in eco-tourism and has consistently followed a model of sustainable tourism which generates local employment and livelihood opportunities while boosting the local economy.
The State remains committed to the eco-tourism model that safeguards ecological integrity and ensures that tourism contributes positively to conservation, local livelihoods, and visitor experience.
