Pragativahini News; Belagavi: KPCC Working President Satish Jarkiholi said the district administration acted foolishly in handling the Quarantine centres and worked against the COVID-19 norms by discharging the quarantined before getting their test report.
Speaking to news persons here on Sunday, Jarkiholi who is representing Yamakanamaradi Assembly Constituency said more than 600 people, all migrated to the state from other states for job were quarantined at Agasagi village in Belagavi taluk, which comes under his constituency, were discharged from the centre recently before getting their test report.
He said shockingly two among those discharged who are at large have been said to be tested positives. Government would have kept them at the centre for at least one more week. The government, based on the report of the district administration has allowed it to discharge them. He added that his organisation was looking after the centre by providing them food, water, fruit, medicine etc.
