Pragativahini News, Belagavi Twenty four hours water supply to 48 wards coming under City Corporation of Belagavi project, seems to have picked up the speed. According to Corporation commissioner Shashidhar Kurer a global tender notification has been issued for the work for an approximate cost of Rs.427 croes rupees. The work should be completed in five years with a maintenance of the work for twelve years. The Corporation is already supplying round the clock water to balance ten wards.
World bank will finance to the tune of 70 percent of cost of the project and balance 30 percent amount will be borne by City Corporation.
Corporation contribution funds are reserved and will contribute its share whenever required said Kurer.
