AIR OFFICER COMMANDING-in-CHIEF, TRAINING COMMAND VISITS AIRMEN TRAINING SCHOOL BELAGAVI  

Pragativahini News, Belagavi -Air Marshal AS Butola Vayu Sena Medal, Vishisht Seva Medal, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief Training Command of the Indian Air Force visited Airmen Training School Belagavi .

The Air Marshal was received by Air Commodore R Ravishankar Vishisht Seva Medal, Air Officer Commanding, Airmen Training School Belagavi. During his two day visit, he was briefed on all the training activities conducted at the school by the Air Officer Commanding and other senior functionaries of the station.

The Air Marshal interacted with all the personnel and trainees and reviewed the various training activities and inspected the training facilities at the school. During the visit the Air Marshal inaugurated the newly constructed ‘1000 Trainees’ Mess facility and a modern three stage Sewage Treatment Plant.

During his interaction with the station personnel, the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief emphasized that Indian Air Force is modernizing at a rapid pace and new aircraft, weapon systems and communication facilities are in various stages of induction in the coming years.

He urged the air warriors to keep pace with evolving technologies to stay relevant in future conflicts, He emphasized the need to stay abreast with all developments in the Aerospace sector and train the trainees to be competent in handling these systems to retain the combat edge.

The School being the trainees alma mater, he reiterated on the core values of honesty, integrity and excellence as the bed rock on which the professional career is to be built, and urged the trainees to maintain a steep learning curve to be an effective and operational Air Warrior on completion of their training.

The Air Marshal was accompanied by Mrs Monica Butola, President Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Regional), Training Command Indian Air Force. She was apprised of the efforts of AFWWA ventures by President AFWWA (L) Mrs Chitra Shankar and interacted with all the Sanginis (Wives of Air Warriors) of the station.
