Pragativahini News, Belagavi – KAHER Institute of Nursing Sciences Belagavi Organized Annual Day “NYASSA-2020” at KLE Centenary Convention Centre on 13th March 2020.
Chief gust of the function was Dr. Vivek A Saoji, Vice Chancellor, KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research, Belagavi, expressed his views on importance of nurses in health care and also advised the students to involve in research activities. The chief guest appreciated components of Nightingale Challenge for the year 2020.
Dr. V.A. Kothiwale, Registrar, KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research, Belagavi in his presidential remarks mentioned that nursing is a Nobel profession, he congratulated the students for selecting this institute where the students are exposed to good clinical experience and also get international exposure through various collaborations.
Dr. Sudha Raddi, Principal KAHER, Institute of Nursing Sciences, Belagavi welcomed the gathering and introduced the guests. Principal briefed about the annual report of the college. Dignitaries of the function released the Annual College magazine NYSSA 2020 and Calendar of Nightingale Challenge 2020. Marciel DaCosta, General Secretary, Student Nurse Association proposed vote of thanks.
Prizes were distributed to the students who secured highest marks in the academics and those who participated in extracurricular activities. The function ended by National Anthem.
