BDSSIA demand to solve problems faced while updating KYC in PF portal

District Small Scale Industries Association President Rohan Juvali along with MSME’s of Belagavi had a Joint Meeting with EPF Asst. Commissioner Deepak Arya and Sudhir Ranjan regarding KYC Updation in UAN.

 Rohan Juvali explained to them what actual problems faced by employers in detailed. Also requested to kindly provide some time to update the KYC and don’t make harassment to entrepreneur of Belagavi. Requested them to make awareness program in Belagavi District Small Scale Industries Association

In reply to this Asst. Commissioner said, within 10 days he will arrange awareness program in District Small Scale Industries Association.

 President Submitted memorandum to Asst. Commissioner and also requested to start Regional Office of EPFO at Belagavi.

Prakash Pandit MD, JPF Metacast Pvt Ltd, Pavan Kadam  Consultant ESIC & EPF, Ramesh Chaugule Consultant ESIC & EPF & other Industrial Fraternity Members were present.

BDSSIA listed the following COMMON PROBLEMS FACED WHILE UPDATING KYC IN PF PORTAL and requested to solve the same at the earliest:

  1. Data Mismatch in PF portal and Aadhar, Data Mismatch in PF Portal and PAN
  2. Different names in PF, Aadhar, PAN, Bank.
  3. UAN credentials not available.
  4. Mobile number linked with UAN is inoperative, hence unable to login and apply for modification of basic details.
  5. Individual request for modification of basic details is time-consuming.
  6. In some cases, individual requests is submitted online and proper documents along with joint declaration is sent to Hubli office but the same is rejected online with a note “Submit with documents”.
  7. Aadhar cards given for updation of DOB and Name, but the database is not updated and hence Aadhar verification getting failed, Similar in case of PAN verification.
  8. In some cases, Aadhar is already linked with UAN but not verified.
  9. In some cases, members Aadhar are already verified with UAN and later on, they have updated their Aadhar for some change.
  10. In case of a change in DOB, more than one year, some members are illiterate and they are not having any education certificate/birth certificate/passport as proof for DOB. They only have Aadhar, PAN but this will not suffice the updating process and hence their request is rejected.
  11. In case of PF online withdrawal – Aadhar, PAN, Bank linked and verified, Mobile number is updated in Aadhar but on submitting Form 19/10C OTP is not sent on Mobile, Error message is displayed as “Aadhaar number does not have both email ID and the mobile number”.
