ಪ್ರಗತಿವಾಹಿನಿ ಸುದ್ದಿ: 2027ರಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಲಿರುವ ಎರಡನೇ ‘ಕ್ವಾಂಟಂ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಸಮಿಟ್’ ಅನ್ನು ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಕ್ವಾಂಟಂ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಾಗಿಸಲು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಸಣ್ಣ ನೀರಾವರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಚಿವ ಡಾ. ಅಜಯ್ ಧರ್ಮಸಿಂಗ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ QNu Labsನ 10ನೇ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕೋತ್ಸವ ಹಾಗೂ QShield 2.0 ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ಮುಂದಿನ ಸಮಾವೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಸಂಶೋಧಕರು, ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳು, ಸ್ಟಾರ್ಟ್ಅಪ್ಗಳು, ಹೂಡಿಕೆದಾರರು ಮತ್ತು ನೀತಿನಿರ್ಧಾರಕರ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಳ್ಳುವಿಕೆಗೆ ಒತ್ತು ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದರು.
“2027ರ ಸಮಿಟ್ ಕೇವಲ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನವಾಗಿರಬಾರದು. ಸಂಶೋಧನೆ, ಉದ್ಯಮ, ಸ್ಟಾರ್ಟ್ಅಪ್ಗಳು, ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸಹಭಾಗಿತ್ವಗಳನ್ನು ಒಂದೇ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸುವ ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಕ್ವಾಂಟಂ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಾಗಬೇಕು,” ಎಂದು ಡಾ. ಅಜಯ್ ಧರ್ಮಸಿಂಗ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವಿತ ಕ್ವಾಂಟಂ ಸಿಟಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ QNu Labsಗೆ ಸಚಿವರು ಆಹ್ವಾನ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಕ್ವಾಂಟಂ ಸಂಶೋಧನೆ, ಹಾರ್ಡ್ವೇರ್, ಸ್ಟಾರ್ಟ್ಅಪ್ಗಳು, ಪ್ರತಿಭೆ, ಉದ್ಯಮ ಮತ್ತು ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯೀಕರಣವನ್ನು ಒಂದೇ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಗ್ಗೂಡಿಸುವುದು ಕ್ವಾಂಟಂ ಸಿಟಿಯ ಉದ್ದೇಶವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.
“ಸಂಶೋಧನೆಯಿಂದ ನೈಜ ಬಳಕೆಯವರೆಗೆ ಸ್ವದೇಶಿ ಕ್ವಾಂಟಂ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ಯುವ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವನ್ನು QNu Labs ತೋರಿಸಿದೆ. ಇಂತಹ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಕ್ವಾಂಟಂ ಸಿಟಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾಲುದಾರರಾಗಬೇಕು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
2035ರ ವೇಳೆಗೆ 20 ಬಿಲಿಯನ್ ಡಾಲರ್ ಕ್ವಾಂಟಂ ಆರ್ಥಿಕತೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುವ ಗುರಿ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ, ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯ, ಮಾನವ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ, ಸ್ಟಾರ್ಟ್ಅಪ್ಗಳು, ಸಂಶೋಧನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಸಹಭಾಗಿತ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ಒತ್ತು ನೀಡುವ ₹1,000 ಕೋಟಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಕ್ವಾಂಟಂ ಮಿಷನ್ ಮೂಲಕ ತನ್ನ ಕ್ವಾಂಟಂ ಪರಿಸರ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ.
“ಪೇಟೆಂಟ್ಗಳು, ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳು, ಹೊಸ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳು, ನುರಿತ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆ, ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳು — ಇವೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಕ್ವಾಂಟಂ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳ ನಿಜವಾದ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶವಾಗಬೇಕು. ಕ್ವಾಂಟಂ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳು ಹುಟ್ಟುವ, ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನಗಳು ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗುವ ಮತ್ತು ಕಂಪನಿಗಳು ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಮಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆಳೆಯುವ ಕೇಂದ್ರವಾಗಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಹೊರಹೊಮ್ಮಬೇಕು,” ಎಂದು ಸಚಿವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
QNu Labs ಹತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸಿದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸ್ಥಾಪಕರು, ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳು, ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರ್ಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿದ ಡಾ. ಅಜಯ್ ಧರ್ಮಸಿಂಗ್, ಭಾರತೀಯ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಗೆ ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ಯುವ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಸ್ವದೇಶಿ DeepTech ಕಂಪನಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ನಿರಂತರ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹ ನೀಡಲಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.

Karnataka Set to Scale Up 2027 Bengaluru Quantum Summit into a Global Platform: Minister Dr. Ajay Dharma Singh
Bengaluru, September 20, 2026: Karnataka is preparing to scale up the second Quantum India Bengaluru Summit in 2027 into a major global platform for quantum research, innovation, industry collaboration and investment, Minister for Minor Irrigation, Science & Technology Dr. Ajay Dharma Singh said.
Speaking at the 10th anniversary celebration of QNu Labs and the launch of QShield 2.0 in Bengaluru, the Minister said the next summit would focus on greater participation from global researchers, technology companies, startups, investors and policymakers.
“The 2027 summit should go beyond being just a conference. It should emerge as a global quantum platform that brings together research, industry, startups, investment and international collaboration,” Dr. Ajay Dharma Singh said.
The Minister also invited QNu Labs to actively participate in the State’s proposed Quantum City. He said the initiative is envisaged as an integrated ecosystem bringing together quantum research, hardware, startups, talent, industry and commercialisation.
“QNu Labs has demonstrated the ability to take indigenous quantum technology from research to real-world applications. Companies like these should become key partners in building Karnataka’s Quantum City,” he said.
Karnataka has set a target of building a $20-billion quantum economy by 2035 and is expanding its quantum ecosystem through the ₹1,000-crore Karnataka Quantum Mission, with a focus on infrastructure, talent, startups, research and global partnerships.
“Patents, products, new companies, skilled talent, investment and global market opportunities must be the real outcomes of our quantum efforts. Karnataka should emerge as a place where quantum ideas are born, technologies are built and companies scale globally,” the Minister said.
Congratulating QNu Labs on completing ten years, Dr. Ajay Dharma Singh said the Karnataka Government would continue to support home-grown DeepTech companies with the potential to take Indian technologies to global markets.
QNu Labs Co-founder and CEO Sunil Gupta and Dr. Ajai Chowdhry, Chairman of the Mission Governing Board, National Quantum Mission, were present at the event.
