Corona Effect : Bus Services Between Karnataka-Maharashtra Expects to be Stopped Shortly

Pragativahini News, Belagavi : As the COVID-19 epidemic spreading its wings widely in the nation, the Health department has planned to recommend the district administration to stop public transportation to neighboring Maharashtra where the epidemic is more than in the state.

The Health department Also planned to suggest the administration to stop public transportation in the district to prevent public from traveling one place to another, without any health related precautionary measures. If the deadly epidemic wouldn’t be controlled in 2-3 days, the administration is expected to stop running buses to Maharashtra and would ask that state to follow the same as more than a lakh people travel between both the state everyday.

Though public were being alerted to follow precautionary measures to be protected from the disease, the people from the district were not serious and the government buses, private public transportation are running packed the health department is expected to recommend the administration to stop public transportation in the district, which would be in force in a week.
