Corona Virus Infected Woman Returned from Shikharji Organises Feast for Villagers
Pragativahini News, Belagavi : One of the women returned from the Jain Pilgrim place Sammed Shikharji at Jarkhand, had organised a feast for the villagers in memory of her visit, recently. The woman tested one of the 13 Corona Virus infected returned to the district from the pilgrim place.
The woman had organized a feast for the villagers of Khavatkop village in Athani taluk last week in which about 125 people attended, wished the infected woman and had food. However, after feast she got her test report where she was quoted infected of the virus.
The Athani taluk administration has got alerted and trying to trace those attended the feast and quarantining them and also whom they met.
However, the Athani tahasildar on Tuesday in his letter to DC SB Bommanhli told there was no need of containing any places of the infected as they not stepped out from home after arriving on May 20.
