Belagavi unit of the Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Association of India (Credai) has decided to join hands with Belagavi City Municipal Corporation in Swacch Bharat scheme. It has aimed to bring Belagavi to 10th position from the pressed 277th position in India.
The Credai office bearers of Belagavi on Saturday met Shashidhar Kurer, Commissioner of BCC and Preetam Naslapure, Commissioner of BUDA and held a discussion in this connection.
They urged that the urinals in hotels and public buildings should be kept open for the use of the public. For this the city municipal corporation should provide the financial support to the commercial complexes. If it is done three will be no problem to build the public toilets and would save money for the MC, the Credai office bearers said.
They urged that the construction of illegal layouts and house construction on 100 rupees’ bond should be banned. The fees incurred on the single point layout should be withdrawn they said.
Chaitanya Kulkarni, designated president of state Credai, Qais Noorani joint secretary of state credai, and Rajesh Heda, district president was present.
