ಪ್ರಗತಿವಾಹಿನಿ ಸುದ್ದಿ: “ನ್ಯಾಷನಲ್ ಹೆರಾಲ್ಡ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಯಂಗ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಗೆ ದೇಣಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಇಡಿ ಸಮನ್ಸ್ ನೀಡಿದೆ. ಆ ಮೂಲಕ ನಮಗೆ ಕಿರುಕುಳ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇದು ಸರಿಯಲ್ಲ. ಇದನ್ನು ನಾನು ಖಂಡಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ” ಎಂದು ಡಿಸಿಎಂ ಡಿ.ಕೆ. ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಸದಾಶಿವನಗರದ ನಿವಾಸದ ಬಳಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳಿಗೆ ಶನಿವಾರ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಇಡಿ ಸಮನ್ಸ್ ನೀಡಿರುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ, “ನಾವು ಮೊದಲಿನಿಂದಲೂ ತನಿಖೆಗೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸುತ್ತಲೇ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಮುಚ್ಚುಮರೆಯಿಲ್ಲ. ಇಷ್ಟೆಲ್ಲಾ ಆದರೂ ಇ.ಡಿ. ಚಾರ್ಜ್ ಶೀಟ್ ಹಾಕಿರೋದು ಏಕೆ ಎಂಬುದೇ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಿಸುವ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾವು ಕಾನೂನಾತ್ಮಕವಾಗಿ ನ್ಯಾಯಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋರಾಟ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ” ಎಂದರು.
ಡಿ.19 ರ ಒಳಗೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಬೇಕು
“ನನಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ನನ್ನ ತಮ್ಮ ಡಿ.ಕೆ.ಸುರೇಶ್ ಗೆ ಇಡಿ ಸಮನ್ಸ್ ನೀಡಿದೆ. ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ನಾವು ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂದೆಯೇ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೆವು. ಆದರೂ ನಮಗೆ ಸಮನ್ಸ್ ನೀಡಿರುವುದು ಆಘಾತಕಾರಿ. ದೆಹಲಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 19 ನೇ ತಾರೀಕಿನ ಒಳಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
“ನಾವು ತೆರಿಗೆ ಪಾವತಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಹಣವನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದವರಿಗೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಕಿರುಕುಳ ನೀಡಲು ಪಿಎಂಎಲ್ ಎ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ಕೂಡ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಆನಂತರ ಏನಾಯಿತು? ಸೋನಿಯಾ ಗಾಂಧಿ, ರಾಹುಲ್ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಬೆಂಬಲಿಗರಿಗೆ ಕಿರುಕುಳ ನೀಡುವುದು, ಜತೆಗೆ ಗೊಂದಲ ಮೂಡಿಸುವುದು ಇದರ ಉದ್ದೇಶ” ಎಂದರು.
“ನ್ಯಾಷನಲ್ ಹೆರಾಲ್ಡ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಯಂಗ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಗೆ ದೇಣಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಇಡಿ ನೋಟಿಸ್ ನೀಡಿದೆ. ನ್ಯಾಷನಲ್ ಹೆರಾಲ್ಡ್, ಯಂಗ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಇವು ನಮ್ಮ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು. ನಾವು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ಸಿಗರಾದ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಈ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಕಷ್ಟ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ ನಮ್ಮ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ಗಳಿಂದ ದೇಣಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ನಮ್ಮಂತೆ ಅನೇಕ ಜನರು ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ” ಎಂದರು.
“ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ನನಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸುರೇಶ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ನೋಟಿಸ್ ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಆತ ಸಂಸದನಾದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಷ್ಟು ಹಣ ದೇಣಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದ. ನೋಟಿಸ್ ಅನ್ನು ವಿವರವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಕಾನೂನಾತ್ಮಕವಾಗಿ ಏನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕೋ ಅದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ” ಎಂದರು.
Delhi Police summons torture is condemnable: DCM DK Shivakumar
Bengaluru: Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar today condemned the summons issued by the Economic Offences wing of Delhi police pertaining to his donations to National Herald and Young India.
Speaking to reporters at his Sadashivanagar residence, he said, “Delhi police has issued summons for donating to National Herald and Young India. They are torturing us. It is not correct and I condemn it.”
Replying to questions on the summons, he said, “We have been cooperating with the investigation from the beginning and there is nothing to hide. I don’t understand why Delhi police has charge sheeted us. There was no need for registering a police complaint in this case. We will fight this legally in the court of law.”
Need to provide info by Dec 19
“Delhi police has issued summons to me and my brother DK Suresh. We had replied to the summons some time back. It is shocking that they have issued the summons once again. They have instructed us to provide information by December 19,” he informed.
“We are paying our taxes and we are free to give our money to anyone we want. They had even registered a PMLA case in order to torture us, what happened after that? The only objective seems to be to torture supporters of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi and create confusion,” he said.
“National Herald and Young India are Congress party’s organizations. We are Congressmen and hence we had donated money from our Trusts when these organizations were in difficult times. Many other people also helped during that time,” he explained.
“The notice was issued on Friday. My brother had donated some money when he was the MP. We will go through the notice and take necessary legal steps,” he added.
