ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಲಾಭಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಿಂದ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಮರುವಿಂಗಡಣೆ ತೀರ್ಮಾನ
ಪ್ರಗತಿವಾಹಿನಿ ಸುದ್ದಿ: “ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ನಾನು ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೇ ಇದ್ದೇವೆ. ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಜತೆಯಲ್ಲೇ ಕೂರುತ್ತೇವೆ, ಚರ್ಚಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಎಲ್ಲಿದೆ ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಂಪು ಎಂಬುದು? ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಸಕರೇ. ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳೇ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಇಬ್ಭಾಗ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿವೆ” ಎಂದು ಡಿಸಿಎಂ ಡಿ.ಕೆ. ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರೊಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಒಂದೇ ವಿಮಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ದಿನಗಳ ನಂತರ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೀರಲ್ಲಾ ಎಂಬ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮದವರ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗೆ ಸಿಟ್ಟಾದ ಡಿ ಕೆ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು, “ನಿಮಗೆ ತಲೆ ಕೆಟ್ಟಿದೆ ಎನಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಎಲ್ಲಿದೆ ನನ್ನ ಮತ್ತು ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಗುಂಪು. ನೀವೇ ಗುಂಪು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ದೆಹಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರ ಗುಂಪು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಅವರೇನೂ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಗುಂಪು ಎಂದು ಬೋರ್ಡ್ ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆಯೇ? ಅಥವಾ ನನ್ನ ಗುಂಪು ಎಂದು ನಾನು ಬೋರ್ಡ್ ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆಯೇ? ಎಲ್ಲ 139 ಶಾಸಕರು ನನ್ನ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರ ಶಾಸಕರೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಯಾವ ಗುಂಪೂ ಇಲ್ಲ, ಬೋರ್ಡೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. ನಿಮಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿದೆಯೇ ಯಾರ್ಯಾರ ಗುಂಪು ಏನಿದೆ ಅಂತ? ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೆಂಗೆ ಬೇಕೋ ಹಂಗೆ ಚಟಕ್ಕೆ ಬರೆಯುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದೀರಿ” ಎಂದರು.
ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರು ಒಂದೊಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದಾರಲ್ಲಾ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ, “ಯಾವ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಯೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಯಾವ ಗುಂಪೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. 139 ಶಾಸಕರು ನನ್ನದೇ ಗುಂಪು. ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಗುಂಪು. ನಮಗೆ ಪಕ್ಷ ಹಾಗೂ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಹಿತ ಮುಖ್ಯ. ಪಕ್ಷದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಅದರ ಒಳಿತಿಗೆ ಏನು ಬೇಕು ಎಂಬುದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ನಾವೆಲ್ಲ ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ, ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ” ಎಂದರು.
ಜಬ್ಬಾರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ನಸೀರ್ ಅಹ್ಮದ್ ಅವರ ವಿರುದ್ದ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿರುವುದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆಯೂ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಸತೀಶ್ ಜಾರಕಿಹೊಳಿ ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ, “ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ವಿಚಾರಗಳು ಇಲ್ಲ. ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ತನ್ನದೇ ಆದ ರೀತಿ-ರಿವಾಜುಗಳಿವೆ. ಎಂಎಲ್ ಎ, ಎಂಎಲ್ ಸಿ ವಿಚಾರವಾಗಿ ದೆಹಲಿ ನಾಯಕರು ಏನೂ ಹೇಳದೇ, ಅವರು ಏನೂ ಸೂಚನೆ ಕೊಡದೆ, ನಾವು ಏನೂ ಮಾಡಲೂ ಆಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಕೆಲವನ್ನು ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದ ಅನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಕೆಲವರು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ದೂರಬಹುದು. ಹಾಗೇ ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೇಳಿದರೂ ಚಿಂತೆಯಿಲ್ಲ. ಪಕ್ಷದ ಶಿಸ್ತಿನ ಚೌಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆ” ಎಂದರು.
ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷ ಇರುವುದೇ ಎಲ್ಲರ ಒಳಿತಿಗೆ
ಅಲ್ಪಸಂಖ್ಯಾತ ಸಮುದಾಯವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೆ ತುಳಿಯುವ ಯತ್ನ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎನ್ನುವ ಆರೋಪದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ, “ಇಡೀ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷ ಇರುವುದೇ ಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಜಾತಿ, ಪಂಗಡ, ಅಲ್ಪಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರು, ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ವರ್ಗ, ರೈತರು – ಹೀಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವರ್ಗಕ್ಕೂ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಒದಗಿಸಲು” ಎಂದರು.
ಸತೀಶ್ ಜಾರಕಿಹೊಳಿ ಅವರ ಜತೆ ಏನು ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆಯಿತು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ, “ಅವರು ನಮ್ಮ ಪಕ್ಷದ ನಾಯಕರು. 2028 ಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ತರುವುದೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಉದ್ದೇಶ. ನಾವು ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ನನಗೆ ಶೇ. 1000 ಪಟ್ಟು ಅಧಿಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಮರಳುವ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸವಿದೆ” ಎಂದರು.
“ನಾನು ಹಾಗೂ ಸತೀಶ್ ಜಾರಕಿಹೊಳಿ ಅವರು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಟ್ರಾಫಿಕ್ ಅನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ಮತ್ತು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಎನ್ನುವ ವಿಚಾರವಾಗಿ ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ನೆಲಮಂಗಲದಿಂದ ಗೊರಗುಂಟೆಪಾಳ್ಯದವರೆಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ವಾಹನ ಸಂಚಾರ ದಟ್ಟಣೆ ಇದೆ. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ನಗರದ ಒಳಗೆ ವಾಹನಗಳು ಬರದಂತೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಬದಲಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡಬಹುದು. ನೈಸ್ ರಸ್ತೆಗೆ ಮುನ್ನ ಯಾವ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಬಿಜಿನೆಸ್ ಕಾರಿಡಾರ್ ಯೋಜನೆ ಕೈಗೆತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ” ಎಂದರು.
ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಲಾಭಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಮರುವಿಂಗಡಣೆ ತೀರ್ಮಾನ
ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಪುನರ್ ವಿಂಗಡಣೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ತರಾತುರಿ ನಿರ್ಧಾರದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ, “ಅವರು ಏಕೆ ಆತುರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಯುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷವು ಚೌಕಟ್ಟಿನ ಒಳಗೆ ಇದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಬಯಸುತ್ತದೆ. ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಲಾಭಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟನೆ ಇಲ್ಲದೇ ಈ ನಿರ್ಧಾರವನ್ನು ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇದು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದರು.
“ಬಿಜೆಪಿಯವರು ಅಭದ್ರತೆ ಎದುರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಈ ವಿಚಾರದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತರಾತುರಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸೋನಿಯಾ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ಆಗಿತ್ತು” ಎಂದರು.
ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಪುನರ್ ವಿಂಗಡಣೆ ವಿರೋಧಿಸಿ ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನ ನಿಲುವಿನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ, “ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಪುನರ್ ವಿಂಗಡಣೆ ಸರಿಯಾದ ಕ್ರಮವಲ್ಲ. ಇದು ಬೇಕಾಗಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದರು.
ದೆಹಲಿ ಭೇಟಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಚಿವ ಸಂಪುಟ ವಿಸ್ತರಣೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ, “ಈಗ ಆ ವಿಚಾರ ಚರ್ಚೆಯಿಲ್ಲ. ಮೊದಲು ಚುನಾವಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಗಿಸೋಣ. ಮೊದಲ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ಚುನಾವಣೆಗೆ. ‘ಬ್ರಿಡ್ಜ್ ಟು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು’ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನಾನು ಹಾಗೂ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ದೆಹಲಿಗೆ ತೆರಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಇತರೇ ದೇಶಗಳ ರಾಯಭಾರಿಗಳು, ಉದ್ಯಮಿಗಳು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಅನೇಕರು ಸೇರುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಐಟಿ ಬಿಟಿ ಸಚಿವರು ಇದನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ” ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
There is no ‘Siddaramaiah group’ and ‘my group’? All MLAs are ours: DCM D K Shivakumar
Stating that there were no factions within the Congress party, Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar today said that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and him were working together.
Speaking to reporters, the DCM said, “Siddaramaiah and I are together. We sit together and discuss things every single day. Where is this ‘group’ among us? All the MLAs are ours. It is the media that is dividing us.”
When journalists pointed out that he was travelling on the same flight as Siddaramaiah after a long time, an annoyed Shivakumar said, “I think you’ve lost your minds. Where is this ‘Siddaramaiah group’ and ‘my group’? You yourselves are creating these groups. In Delhi, you called some people the ‘Siddaramaiah group’ — did they put up a board saying so? Or did I put up a board saying ‘my group’? All 139 MLAs belong to both me and Siddaramaiah. There is no group, there is no board. Do you even know who belongs to which group? You write whatever you feel like, just out of habit.”
When asked about different members of the party making different statements, he said, “There are no such statements. There are no groups. All 139 MLAs are my group — the Congress group. The party and the party’s interests are what matter to us. We have discussed what is needed for the party’s growth and well-being. We are all working together, and we will continue to do so.”
Asked about Satish Jarkiholi’s statement that he would speak about the action taken against Jabbar and Naseer Ahmed, Shivakumar said, “There are no personal matters here. The party has its own norms and conventions. Without Delhi leadership saying something or giving direction regarding MLA and MLC matters, we cannot act on our own. Some things have to be done as per guidance. Some may complain about me — even that is fine. All of us have to work within the discipline of the party.”
Congress party exists for the welfare of all
When asked about allegations that there are attempts to suppress minority communities, he said, “The Congress party is there to deliver justice to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, minorities, backward classes, farmers — in short, to every section of society.”
When asked what was discussed with Satish Jarkiholi, he said, “He is a leader of our party. Our goal is to bring the Congress party back to power in 2028. We are working together. I am 1000% confident of returning to power.”
“Satish Jarkiholi and I discussed how to control and reduce Bengaluru’s traffic. There is heavy congestion from Nelamangala to Goraguntepalya. We discussed how vehicles can be diverted through national and state highways so they don’t enter the city, and what arrangements can be made before the NICE Road. We have already taken up the Business Corridor project,” he said.
Delimitation decision taken for political gain
When asked about the Centre’s hasty decision on women’s reservation and delimitation, he said, “I don’t understand why they are in such a hurry. The Congress party wants a proper discussion on this within the appropriate framework. BJP is taking this decision without any clear explanation, purely for political gain. This is not right.”
“BJP is facing insecurity, which is why they are rushing on this matter. A decision on this had previously been taken under the leadership of Sonia Gandhi,” he said.
When asked about Tamil Nadu’s stance opposing delimitation, he said, “Delimitation is not the right step. It is not needed.”
When asked about his Delhi visit and cabinet expansion, he said, “There is no discussion on that matter right now. Let us first complete the elections — elections are the first priority. The Chief Minister and I are going to Delhi for the ‘Bridge to Bengaluru’ programme. Ambassadors from various countries, industrialists, and many others will be attending. The IT-BT Minister has organised this event.”
