DCM Savadi Instructs to Complete Bus Stand Up-gradation Work Before June
Pragativahini News, Belagavi : DCM Laxman Savadi who is also possessing State Road Transportation department has instructed the construction agency to complete the construction work of the central bus stand before commenced of the rainy season.
He also directed the department to ensure quality of the work and completion of the project in allowed time.
Savadi who inspected the work on Monday morning expressed grieves over the slow movement of the project started about 4-year ago. Apart from outer work like underpass between outstation and city bus stands and new approach roads, the bus stand building would be ready by June.
Later, he flagged of 9 Multi-Excell buses which would be plied to long distanced important cities. The minister, along with Panchayat Raj and Rural Development minister KS Eshwarappa, Railway Minister of State Suresh Angadi, Legislative Council Chief Whip Mahantesh Kavatagimath, MP Annasaheb Jolle and MALs Anil Benake, Abhay Patil left to Suvarna Vidhan Soudha in a flagged off bus to inaugurate a two day programme.
