Pragativahini News, Dharwad : A person from Dharwad who had arrived to the town from Australia has been found with the COVID-19 virus.
The person arrived Dharwad via Goa. With this the toll of the positives in the state raised to 21.
Tbe man hailing from Hosayellapur had toured Dubai, Masqat before boarding plane at Australia. Dharwad DC Deepa Cholan confirmed the matter.
The 33-year-old man had returned to Dharwad on March 12 and got admitted at a private hospital on March 18, his throat swab tested at laboratory at Shivamogga has been proved with COVID-19.
As he returned to home his village Hosayellapure has been declared as “Containment Area” for 3km radius and the entry of people to the village and exit out from village has been prevented
