ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ: ಮಚ್ಚೆ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರುವಾರ ತಡರಾತ್ರಿ ಕ್ರಾಂತಿವೀರ ಸಂಗೊಳ್ಳಿ ರಾಯಣ್ಣ ಅವರ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಗೆ ಅಪರಿಚಿತರು ಯಾವುದೋ ಪದಾರ್ಥವನ್ನು ಹಚ್ಚಿರುವ ಕುರಿತು ದೂರು ಬಂದಿದ್ದು, ಪ್ರಕರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ತಕ್ಷಣ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ದೂರು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದ ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಹಿರಿಯ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದರು.
ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯ ಮೇಲಿದ್ದ ಪದಾರ್ಥದ ಮಾದರಿಯನ್ನು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಫೊರೆನ್ಸಿಕ್ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಸ್ಥಳದ ಸಮೀಪದಲ್ಲೇ ಸುಮಾರು 10 ಮೀಟರ್ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಸಿಟಿವಿ ಕ್ಯಾಮೆರಾ ಇರುವುದರಿಂದ ಅದರ ದೃಶ್ಯಾವಳಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ದೂರುದಾರರನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಣೆಗೊಳಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಘಟನೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಸಮಗ್ರ ತನಿಖೆ ಮುಂದುವರಿದಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಸ್ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಗುವಿನ ವಾತಾವರಣ ಉಂಟಾಗಿದೆ.
Attempt to Desecrate Krantiveer’s Statue in Machche Village — Probe Intensified
Belagavi: A complaint has been received that unidentified persons smeared some substance on the statue of Krantiveer Sangolli Rayanna in Machche village, following which the police took immediate action.
Soon after receiving the complaint, senior police officers visited the spot and conducted an inspection. A sample of the substance found on the statue has been collected and sent for forensic examination. Since there is a CCTV camera about 10 meters from the location, police are examining the footage.
The complainant has been questioned, and a comprehensive investigation into the incident is underway, police said.
