Dr Prabhakar Kore elected Chairman of Board of Management KLE Society for 8th Consecutive Term

Pragativahini News, Belagav – In the first meeting of the newly elected Members of the Board of Management, KLE Society at the organizational Head Office, Belagavi, Dr Prabhakar Kore has been unanimously voted to continue his work as Chairman, Board of Management, for the 8^th consecutive term.

Speaking on the occasion, Member of Board of Management, KLE Society and Chief Whip, Government of Karnataka,   Mahantesh Kavatagimath, MLC expressed absolute faith in the leadership of Dr Prabhakar Kore. He opined that the growth of KLE Society into an organization of international repute in education, healthcare and research has largely been an outcome of the vision of Dr Kore.  Kavatagimath stated that Dr Kore has brought the best of educational practices, expertise and infrastructure to Tier II cities and villages in Karnataka and Maharashtra, thus transforming the educational landscape in the region.

Speaking on the occasion, Senior Medical Practitioner, Dr H B Rajashekhar praised Dr Kore’s resilience and determined efforts which have enabled several projects see the light of the day. “His leadership and ability to inspire others to pursue the mission of the organization with single minded dedication, is unparalleled”, he said. Dr Rajshekhar attributed the growth of the organization from 38 institutions to 270 institutions to the foresight of Dr Kore and his ambition to take the best of education to common man. He made special mention of Dr Prabhakar Kore’s role in conceptualizing and implementing a series of healthcare setups with a combined capacity of over 4000 beds including 1700 Charitable beds, thus making KLE one among the largest providers of quality healthcare services in the private sector in the region.

Dr Vivek Saoji, Vice Chancellor KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research (KAHER) and Life Member KLE Society Shri S S Goudar, Head of Research Unit at KAHER’s Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, spoke regarding the invaluable contributions of Dr Prabakar Kore over the years.

Newly elected President KLE Society,  Mahantesh Koujalagi highlighted the multi-faceted work and accomplishment profile of Dr Kore and lauded his role in the growth and expansion of the sphere of responsibility of KLE Society over the years.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Prabhakar Kore expressed his gratitude for the faith expressed by the Members of the Board of the Management and shared his sense of pride in undertaking the said responsibility. He attributed the success of the organization to the relentless efforts of hundreds of members of the KLE family who have put organization and responsibility before self. He fondly recalled the legacy of the “Saptarishis”, seven visionary teachers and three benevolent patrons who unconditionally supported the cause of societal transformation through education. Reminiscing times of challenge and accomplishment over the years, he shared a renewed commitment to taking the organization to greater heights and responsibilities in the years to come.
