Karnatak Law Society’s Gogte Institute of Technology (GIT) has organized freshers welcome function to greet its 2019 – 20 batch students of B.E.
The event was inaugurated by U. N. Kalkundrikar, chairman, Governing Council, GIT. Speaking on the occasion he told, there is no substitute for hard work and it is the only key to success, but in today’s era of advancement and competition, one should consider both smart & hard work to excel.
GIT primarily focuses on making students good human beings and also successful professionals through a strategic teaching of both theoretical and practical aspects during the course of education, he said.
Highlighting about the alumni students he told that, many of our students, who have emerged from our college with flying colors excelled in academics are now occupying higher positions in several renowned organizations both in India and abroad.
Talking about placements he said industry also need good professionals, that’s why, by understanding the industrial demands we provide quality education which suits them and provides best placement opportunities to our students.
Life changing journey
Also he advised students to put their best attempt for enhancing their knowledge and capabilities. We here at GIT ensure that, we will do everything possible to equip you with the best possible teaching resources, practical exposure and training methods so that you are able to shape up your life and career for a challenging world out there, he said.
In our college, we believe in inspiring minds, improving their intellectual capacity and building characters which our students will treasure for their lifetime. Additionally, we endeavor to inculcate social values and principles of personal excellence and care for others, he said.
“These four years can be a life changing journey for you all and we wish each fresher to leave an impression of infallibility on the walls of this institute” with this statement he wished and greeted all the freshers.
Later Prof. D.A.Kulkarni, Principal, KLSGIT speaking on the occasion, he gave in- detail explanation on recent achievements by the students and facilities available in the college. S
peaking on the occasion Dean Dr. M.S.Patil highlighted the autonomous curriculum and course structure. More than 800 students with their parents were present. Applied Science Departments have coordinated this event.
