
Prgativahini News, Bengaluru : The Karnataka government which with an intention to get reduced its burden related to handling the COVID cases had reduced the Institutional Quarantine Days to 7 from 14, has extended to 14 days again following uncontrolled spreading of virus.
Karnataka Health Minister Dr K Sudhakar who is a professional doctor twitted on Monday disclosing the term of quarantine to those arrive to the state from outside either in-land or from out-land have to undergo 14 days Institutional Quarantine compulsorily. The state was following the same quarantine guideline, however, it was changed to 7 each days at Institutional and home quarantine.
As the changed guidelines, instead working positively going reverse with growing number of positives hundreds everyday, the government has decided to adopt the last policy where those arrive state must be in Institutional quarantine for 14 days.
Those complete Institutional quarantine term are not follow the same during their home quarantine for which, government suspected “cause to blast the virus” and turned back to the last rules.
Minister Sudhakar twitted that “61.39 pc is the recovery rate in the state, while 1.49pc is the death rate in the state. The state quarantining the first and second phase contact of the positives and quarantining them at their homes to prevent spreading the virus from them.
