Pragativahini News, Belagavi
Election commission is spending crores of rupees to create awareness among the voters to cast their votes in the election. Apart from this several other organisations have taken up the cause of creating awareness among the voters.
Some people and organisations are contributing their bit to this cause even by spending their own money. The ‘Belagavi Votes 100%’ campaign which began during the last assembly election in Belagavi is continuing during this Lok Sabha election too. The awareness among the voters is being created through the walkathon, bike rally, cycle rally, street play etc in the city.
Dilip Chandak, a business man from Belagavi is contributing his bit in a unique style. He owns a company called Vega which produces the helmets of international quality.
For last 15 days he is printing a message ‘VOTE FOR BETTER INDIA’ on the helmets produced by his company.
Everyday about 12 thousand helmets are being produced in his company and of them the message for voting is being printed on 6 thousand helmets every day. If the customers informs that he doesn’t was the helmet with the message then only he would be given the helmet without message. But the message is mandatorily being printed on every helmet box. Thus Dileep is spreading the awareness across the country.
I am libelling the helmet with messages for compul voting as a social work and no fees is being charges for that. Thus the message for compulsory voting is being sent across the country
