Inauguration of Computer Hardware Lab at Shaikh central School
Pragati Vahini News, Belgavi – In the world of Science and Technology computers and laptops has become an indispensable part of teaching learning process. In this view, Shaikh Central School inaugurated Computer Hardware Lab at the school premises.
The lab was inaugurated by Dr. Abu Shaikh, chairman, Shaikh Group of Institutions. The other dignitaries present during the event were Dr. M.J Attar, Chief Coordinator, Shaikh Group of Institutions and Simon Lobo, Principal, Shaikh Central School.
The training will mainly focus on identification of basic computer components, circuit boards construction, assembling and dissembling etc. the training will also focus on computer troubleshooting- step by step process through which students can learn to determine why a broken computer isn’t responding.
Addressing the gathering he said that technology has certainly made modern life much more comfortable and easy. Speaking about the importance of computers in day to day life he said that training on computers must be one of the basic aspects of today’s generation and it is a need of the hour to make the young generation techno savvy.
He further said that computer education may influence student’s performance by enabling them to become more involved with their school work. He further said that computer can potentially enhance student’s mathematical thinking and improve scores in problem solving and critical thinking tasks.
The event was coordinated by Najama Gadamphalli and Rajeshwari Undale. The event concluded with vote of thanks proposed by Rajeshwari.
