Pragati vahini News, Karwar Karwar: Comparing himself with an elephant former Minister and JDS candidate from Uttara Kannada constituency Anand Asnotikar on Sunday compared BJP spokesperson Rajesh Nayak with a barking dog.
Asnotikar who is seething in anger after Rajesh Nayak had levelled some charges against him on Friday in a press meet and had questioned how Asnotikar family which was living in a rented house just 23 years ago has now amassed thousands of crores of rupees. He had also accused Asnotikar of carrying out atrocity against the women belonging to fishermen community who were protesting the thermal power plant at Hanakon near Karwar. Asnotikar was a fisheries minister in BJP government when it happened. This incident had resulted in the downfall of Anand Asnotikar politically and he lost twice in the assembly election.
Addressing the media at Karwar on Sunday Asnotikar said that he is an elephant and do not care hundred barking dogs like Rajesh and would continue to walk with majesty’
