Khanapur Case : Not Attacked by Bear, But Murdered by a Gang of 5

Pragativahini News, Khanapur : The person from Khanapur taluk who was believed killed by wild bear at forest on March 11, was found Murdered by a gang of five.
Tanaji Topa Naik, 35, from Amate village in Khanapur taluk was found killed at ths jungle beside the village. Since there were founds on the back of the head and back it was suspected that he might have killed by a bear.
However, his wife Tejaswini suspected on the matter and urged the police to detect the case. Based on the information she gave , Khanapur police led Inspector Suresh Shingi and Sub Inspector Basangouda Patil took Devidas Gounkar, Santosh Gounkar, Vithal Naik, Rama Naik and Prashant Sutar and during interrogation they confessed on murdering Tanaji.
Police have recovered a single barrel gun, live bullets and 2 bikes from their possession.
