ಎನ್ಎಬಿಎಚ್ ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿನ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾನ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡುವ ಅಥವಾ ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸುವ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅತೀ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎನ್ಎಬಿಹೆಚ್ ಮಾನ್ಯತೆ ಪಡೆದ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ಇದಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನ್ಯತೆ ಪಡೆದ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಗ್ಗಳಿಕೆಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರವಾಗಿದೆ.
ಉತ್ತರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಮಾನ್ಯತೆ ಪಡೆದ ಮೊದಲ ಅತೀ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಹಾಗೂ ಬಹುವಿಧ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನೀಡುವ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಮಾನ್ಯತೆ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯು ರೋಗಿಯ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆ, ಸೋಂಕು ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ, ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸೇವೆಗಳ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಅಂಶಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸುವ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಎನ್ಎಬಿಎಚ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ತಂಡವು ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ಎಲ್ಲ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನವನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಎನ್ಎಬಿಎಚ್ ಮಾನ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡಿದೆ.

KLES Dr. Prabhakar Kore Hospital’s NABH Accreditation Story
KLES Dr. Prabhakar Kore Hospital and Medical Research Centre embarked on a journey to achieve the prestigious National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH) certification. The hospital’s commitment to quality and patient safety drove this endeavor.
The hospital’s quality team, led by the visionary management, began by undergoing a Safe I assessment in 2016. This initial step laid the foundation for the hospital’s quality improvement initiatives.
Progressing to Entry Level
the hospital took a significant step forward by undergoing its first Entry Level assessment. This assessment marked the beginning of the hospital’s journey toward achieving NABH accreditation. The hospital continued to build on its quality framework, it underwent its second Entry Level assessment. Two years later, in 2023, the hospital successfully completed its third Entry Level assessment, demonstrating its consistent commitment to quality and patient safety and also the hospital underwent QCI audit for ECHS empanelment. Simultaneously the hospital successfully completed 6 cycles of NABL certification.
Achieving Full Accreditation
After years of hard work and dedication, KLES Dr. Prabhakar Kore Hospital and MRC was ready to take the next significant step. In 2025, the hospital underwent a Full Level NABH assessment, To prepare for this assessment, the hospital developed over 120 policies and 60 manuals, ensuring that all aspects of patient care and hospital operations were aligned with NABH standards.
The hospital’s staff, including doctors, nurses, paramedical staff, clerical staff, and class 4th employees, underwent rigorous training on relevant topics as per NABH standards. This comprehensive training ensured that every staff member was equipped to provide high-quality care and support.
With improved patient satisfaction and better productivity among staff, NABH Accreditation helps increase community confidence in the services provided by credentialed medical staff at the hospital.
