Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy who was here for the Village Stay programme (Grama Vastavya) on Tuesday lost his patience and threatened the protesters of lathi charge.
While CM was on his way for the Grama Vastavya programme, the YTPS employees waylaid the bus he was travelling and urged him to fulfil their demands. Angered by the actions of the protesters Kumaraswamy lashed out towards them by saying while voting you prefer Modi and ask me to solve your problems. He warned them that he would order lathi charge against them.
BJP has reacted sharply to the action of the CM. Kumaraswamy while taking the oath had promised that he would not have any prejudice against anybody but now he has started hating the people just because they voted for Modi.
But the CM has refused to relent. He justified his act by saying if same thing happens to Modi will these BJP people hug the protesters? He questioned. I repeatedly told the protesters that their grievances will be looked into. But they blocked my way. What type of protest is it, the CM questioned?
