Maratha Mandal Chief Rajashree Moves Supreme Court Against Govt on Conducting SSLC Examination
Pragativahini News, Belagavi : Belagavi based Maratha Mandal Educational Institution Society Chief Rajashree Nagaraju (Halagekar), after her application was rejected by the State High Court against government on conducting SSLC examination has moved to the Supreme Court on the matter on Tuesday.
Rajashree filed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) questioning the decision of the Karnataka Government about conducting the SSLC examination. The government has announced of conducting the examination from June 25 to July 4 in which about 8.40 lakh students to attend.
She said the COVID-19 was spreading its wings widely after relaxation was given to the lockdown and not only students but their parents, examination staff would suffer. The government was putting the lives of the innocent people into high risk with its examination task.
Rajashree whose institution has dozens of institutes including engineering and dental courses, advised government to declare results as per the performance of the previous class tests and added that life is more important than a year in life for which the examination must be cancelled.
