Pragatiavhini News, Belagavi : MLA Satish Jarkiholi has given shelter to about 200 workers from Maharashtra and feeding them at his guest house at Aladal village in Hukkeri taluk since a few days.
After allowed, the workers were on way back to their home in the state and were supposed to be quarantined by government in government houses, however, Jarkiholi who is also working president of KPCC housed them in his guest house and feeding them time to time. He also provided them playing kits to pass the time.
The workers were stuck in the middle after knowing their villages were prevented outsiders to get protected the villages from corona virus.
Jarkiholi representing Yamakanamaradi constituency in the district also providing food to about 1000 people everyday after lockdown was announced.
