Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi entered into Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Cobra School for Jungle Warfare and Tactics (CSJWT), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Torali, Belagavi on 2nd August 2019.
Cobra School for Jungle Warfare and Tactics, CRPF is a Central Government Organization functioning under Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India, established in April 2014.
The objective of the MoU is to conduct MBA, Executive PG Diploma and Certificate Programme in Business Management for the officers, subordinate officer and staff of CRPF.
The certificate programme is designed to provide inputs to CRPF officers in dealing with dynamic and complex problems in managing internal security.
The programme aims to impart managerial decision-making skills to CRPF officers, subordinate officer and staff through case studies, assignments, role plays and other and ragogical tools for the smooth conduct of the program.
Dr. Karisiddappa, Vice Chancellor of VTU and Dr. T. Sekar, IGP of CRPF exchanged the copy of MoU.
Dr. A. S. Deshpande, Registrar of VTU, Dr. Satish Annigeri, Registrar (Evaluation) of VTU, Shri Preet Mohan Singh, Commandant of CRPF, Shri Anil Kishore Yadav, 2nd in Commandant of CRPF, Shri Gaurav Kumar, 2nd in Commandant of CRPF, Dr. R. R. Malagi, Professor of VTU, Dr. K. Shivashankar, Asst. Professor of VTU were present on the occasion.
