Karnataka Law Society’s Gogte Institute of Technology flagship event national level cultural fest “Aura-19” “Shor in the City” will commence from 30th March 2019.
To have the perfect balance between core academics, curriculum & extracurricular activities, in every summer, GIT provides one of the biggest platforms for the students across the nation to come together & showcase their multifaceted talent and rise to the tallest fame. It’s one of the most happening & popular cultural events of Karnataka.
“Aura-19” will have multiple cultural events within it like Dance, Literary events, Music, Fine Arts, Dramatics, Fashion Show, Mr & Miss Aura, Shaurya Vyuvha, Regional Flavors and many more.
Aura is a national level cultural fest addition to many technical events such as Avalanche, Paanchajannya, and Oculus etc. These technical events are conducted in a big manner throughout the year. As a part of these technical events the interaction with industry experts, researchers and corporate leaders are arranged in the campus. Dr. Raghunath Mashelkar, Bharat Dhabolkar, Chetan Bhagat, Santosh Hegde, Sudhindra Haldodderi, Nitin Gokhale, Subhrato Bagchi, etc… are few names who have wonderfully interacted with the students in past few years.
All the technical and cultural programmes in the institute are managed and coordinated by the students. This inculcates management and coordinating abilities in the students. These skills are of great use and develop confidence among the students and also develop an attitude to work in team.
“Aura -19” is scheduled from 30th March to 1st April 2019. These three days more than 2,000 students from various academic institutes will showcase their talents in various events.
