Pragativahini News, Belagavi : The Kakati police on Saturday rounded-up one Laxman Patil from Maranhol village in Belagavi taluk on charges of attacking on PDO, Village Accountant and a woman staff from health department on Friday. Trace is on to round-up about eight mire persons who attacked the Corona Warriors.
About a dozen people from the village had arrived back from Maharashtra early this week were quarantined in the Institutional Quarantine centres in the village. After explaining them about everything, the village PDO, Village Accountant with a nurse been to collect the swab of the throat of those were in first contact of the arrived people. A few among the arrived have been tested positives and admitted at the COVID wards.
However, a group of villagers allegedly attacked the officers and the nurse when been to collect the samples.
PDO and Village Accountant were beaten and the nurse was chased to beat, the cellphone belonged to the former was smashed off by throwing hardly to the ground.
