Pragativahini News, Kagwad : Kagwad police assault has been suspected behind the death of a newly married person at Koulgud village.
26-year-old Jagadish Suresh Tegginmani was the person died suspiciously on Saturday. Police allegedly beat him with the sticks as he kept open his shop despite the business hour was over. Jagadeesh, after beaten fell down unconsciously and died on the way to hospital at Kagwad.
His parents alleged that Suresh died because of the assault of the police and complained in this regard with Belagavi SP Laxman Nimbargi. SP said the cause for the death would be known with the post mortem report which yet to come.
“Police wouldn’t be spared if detected are behind the death of Suresh”, SP added.
