ತನ್ಮೂಲಕ ರೊಬೋಟ್ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಅವಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಈ ಭಾಗದ ಮೊದಲ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ಎನ್ನುವ ಕೀರ್ತಿಗೆ ಕೆಎಲ್ಇ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ಪಾತ್ರವಾಗಿದೆ.

We are pleased to present a heartwarming success story of our First Robotic Surgery in North Karnataka. We did robotic assisted esophagectomy on 10-07-2024 on 62 year old Male patient from Naragund, Said Dr. Dayanand, MD, KLES Dr.Prabhakar Kore Hospital and Research center.
In a landmark achievement for the medical community in the surgical team successfully performed a Robotic Radical Nephrectomy on a 70-year-old female patient using the SSI Mantra Surgical Robotic System. This milestone is not just a surgical triumph; it represents a beacon of hope in medicine for patients in tier-two cities who have long been underserved.
Robotic surgery is quite a revolutionary technology and holds significant promise in medical science with both real and potential advantages. Surgical robotics saw light in the 90s and with a slow pick up, it is on an ever-evolving journey towards surgical wonders.
We all know that robotic technology has been widely utilized in various industries, but over the last couple of decades, this technology has gained great acceptability in healthcare sector too. The application of robotic surgery has been evolving constantly. From performing a variety of menial tasks, like handing over operative instruments, to operating the most complex surgical procedures, Robotic surgery is a promising surgical alternative that has advanced by leaps and bounds over the last few decades.
Robotic-assisted surgery is regarded as the benchmark treatment for many oncological and other surgeries, and is now highly recommended for patients with these medical conditions.
