Roashan Baig, former minister and Shivajinagar MLA was suspended by the Congress party for his alleged anti-party remark.
Baig who had become the dissident leader in the party after the party denied him the ministerial berth in the coalition government in the state. Baig had criticised the party high command in public forum on several occasions. He had called Venugopal, the party in charge in the state a buffoon. He had criticised KPCC president Dinesh Gundurao a joker and ‘flop president’
He displayed the public defiance when party issued a show cause notice to him and had stated that he would not even read that unworthy paper (notice). He had stated that Muslims will not hesitate to support BJP if they are pushed to the corner in Congress. After that Dinesh had recommended his suspension. Now the part high command has officially issued him the suspension letter.
