Pragativahini News, Belagavi –Recently students of Civil engineering department, KLS GIT carried out social activities at Gokuldham, Chikle. One hundred and twenty students accompanied by twelve faculty members including Head of Civil Engineering Department, Dr. Shreedhar participated.
The activities include, surveying for laying of water supply pipe line in the forest, cleaning and maintenance of premises and maintenance of register and stacking of books in the library, raising mud bed fillings for vegetable farming and many such social activities.
These activities were planned to inculcate the sense of preservation of environment, ecology and social responsibility amongst students. Social activities improve the group behavior, proper co-ordination and leadership & communication skills amongst students.
This program was conceived by Civil Engineering Department of KLSGIT supported by the Principal and Management of KLS GIT and Mr. Vrajeshwardas of Gokuldham, ISKCON.
