Today SpiceJet started its first operation under UDAN-3 at Belagavi Airport in the Hyderabad-Belagavi-Hyderabad sector.
A event was organized by SpiceJet to commemorate its commencement of operations from Belagavi Airport. The event started with cutting of ribbon by Rajesh Kumar Maurya,
Airport Director, Belagavi Airport and the first few passengers of the flight.
It was followed by lighting of sacred candle (diya) and cutting of cake. The Airport Director also expressed his thanks and gratitude to all the Representatives of People of Belagavi, all the citizens and different organizations / groups of Belagavi city for their constant effort and contribution towards bringing the Airport under UDAN Scheme.
At the end, Niyaz Shirahatti, Station Manager, SpiceJet thanks to Airports Authority of India and all the stakeholders at the Airport.
The SpiceJet flight (SG 3733/3734) will operate on a daily basis from Belagavi Airport with arrival from Hyderabad Airport at 5.35 pm IST and departure to Hyderabad Airport at 5.55 pm IST.
