Brahmanand Swamiji of Valmiki Peetha on Monday demanded that rebel Congress leader Ramesh Jarakiholi be made Deputy CM of Karnataka.
Speaking to the media after meeting Ramesh Jarakiholi, Swamiji said that during Yedyurappa regime four persons from Valmiki community were made ministers in his cabinet. So there is nothing wrong if Ramesh is included in the present cabinet. Make Ramesh a deputy CM he urged.
The swamiji’s statement has raised the curiosity in the political circles. It is suspected that Swamiji has said it after Ramesh demanded for the DCM post during the discussion.
