Two persons who were working at Shiva Petrol bunk at Chennammana Kittur were brutally killed by some unknown persons on Tuesday night.
The victims have been identified as Manjunath Pattanashetty (22) of Lingadalli in Devagoan and Mustaq Beedi of Tigadolli. The murderers have slit opened the throat of the victims while they were asleep.
The petrol bunk is situated on the order of Kittur and Dharwad and falls within the jurisdiction of Kittur police station. Police from Kittur and Dharwad rushed to the spot and an investigation is on.
