Two police personnel suspended for the dereliction of duty – Lokesh kumar

Two police personnel who had been absent from the duty on unauthorised manner for past several days have been suspended by the Police commissioner.
Providing the details Lokesh Kumar, Commissioner of police said that C. S Bharat police constable attached to the Malamaruti station and Rukmini Uppar, police constable attached to Udyamabag police station were absent in unauthorised manner. Both have been suspended because they had not reported to duty even during the Lok Sabha election. The police personnel have been kept under suspension under the charges like irresponsibility and negligence of the duty Police Commissioner said.
Heavy security arrangement has been made in Belagavi city in view of Lok Sabha polls and total 1433 police personnel have been appointed for the duty. In addition to this 3 battalions of state reserve police, 2 battalions of central reserve police, 10 officers and staff of armed reserve constabulary have been deputed for the duty he said.
Lokesh Kumar asked the people to cast their vote without any feart and inform police if there is any inconvenience during the voting.
