Pragativahini Belagavi
The anxious parents and the children who are worried because of the low score or unsuccessful attempt in PUC II examination kept on calling the Pragativahini to find a solution to their anxiety.
The announcement of Pragativahini that it would provide the free counselling facilities to the students who have failed in the PU exams had a salutary effect and Pragativahini was flooded with telephone calls from different parts of the state. Students and parents got satisfactory reply for their queries.
Many specialists and experts have volunteered to provide the help in the form of counselling to these depressed students.
D. Roopa, senior IPS officer told that she is ready to help the students who have failed in PUC by providing counselling facility to them. Contacting Pragativahini on phone she said that she is ready to provide the free counselling facility these students. If necessary I will provide the counselling on phone or even I am ready to guide such distressed students if they come and meet me she said.
Dr. Sonali Sarnobat, Chairperson of Niyati Foundation Belagavi too said that she is ready to counsel such students free of cost. The students need not be worried if they are unsuccessful in the examination she said.
A student who contacted Pragativahini said that he was in confusion whether he has to apply for the revaluation of the papers or reappear for the examination as he has failed in two subjects. After getting the details of his background appropriate guidance was provided to him.
Another parent said that his daughter has failed second time in Science subject and enquired whether she should reappear form the examination or should change to some other stream from Science.
Guidance was provided to many students on the telephone and arrangement was made in some cases to get advice from the experts.
