Pragativahini News, Mudalagi – : Former Belagavi Zilla Panchayat member Chintamani Ramappa Meti was shot dead at Ramapur village in Mudalagi taluk on Friday.
55-year-old Meti was pushed two round of bullets to his chest. His cousin Gopal Chintamani fired at Meti with his licensed revolver. Meti who was rushed to the government hospital at Gokak was declared brought dead.
The land dispute between both the Meti families was the cause for the incident.
