Police achieved a major breakthrough in the double murder case that had taken place at Shiva Petrol Bunk in Kitturu. Police arrested the accused in this case.
The murder had taken place on May 15 this year and two petrol bunk workers had been killed in the incident. The arrested person has been identified as Bheemappa Mallappa Teerthappanavar, (24) a resident of Kallapur village in Dharwad district. He was working in a private company. Police had taken the acceded to the spot where the crime had taken place. The motive behind the murder is not yet revealed by the police.
