Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya chair at Rani Chennamma University (RCU- Belagavi) will be inaugurated tomorrow on June 6.
The study Chair is being established at RCU to study and spread the ideology of philosopher, economist, sociologist, historian and political scientist Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya who is the founder member of Bharateeya Janasangh. The Bharateeya Janasangh is the earlier incarnation of BJP.
The programme will be held at the auditorium of Vishweshwaraih University at 11.00 am. Vajubai Wala, governor of Karnataka will preside over the function.
Atul Jain, General Secretary of Pt. Deena Dayal Research Foundation, New Delhi will address the audiences, according to Shivanand Hosamani, Vice Chancellor of RCU.
