Memorandum to Minister regarding Problems faced by Belagavi Industrialists

Today President Rohan Juvali, Hon. Secretary Shridhar Uppin along with Managing Committee members attended the Interact meet with Investors of Karnataka and Maharashtra states at Hotel Fairfield Marriott, Belagavi.

This Interaction meeting chaired by Minister for Large & Medium scale Industries  Jagdish Shettar,  South MLA  Abhay Patil, North MLA Shri Anil Benake,  Gourav Gupta, Principal Secretary Industries & commerce,  Gunjan Krishna,IAS, Director, MSME, along with All Association Office bearers of Belagavi and Kolhapur were present.

President submitted the memorandum to Minister for the Key Problems faced by Belagavi Industrialists and also requested to resolve the problems of local industrialist first and then invite the investors from outside.

President Ronan Juvali asked in this meeting to Investors that, while Maharashtra Govt is Giving 80% subsidy and Karnataka Govt is giving only 15% subsidy then why Maharashtra People’s are interested to come Karnataka, and in Maharashtra there is more facilities for industries then why you so much interested to invest in Karnataka.

He also said that we welcome you all to Karnataka but we the Local Industrial people also to be get benefited along with you. For this Investors from Maharashtra people are said we will separately discuss with Minister.

 Highlights of the Memorandum 

 

  • Existing Internal Roads of Industrial areas to be Re-carpeted with Cement Concrete for Movement of Heavy Loaded Vehicles.
  • Invite PSU companies &Big public Sector Like Tata, Tata Morcopolo, Auto Industries to Belagavi for Employment Creations.
  • Skill Development Centers to be start in Udyambag as GTTC only one Centre in Belgaum as one more Centre is require.
  • MSME –Development Institute, Divisional office to be Start at Belagavi, as Presently MSME-DI office is at Hubli. Belagavi is a Second Capital of Karnataka and More number of MSME units are registered in Belagavi.
  • Common Facility Centre at Belgaum District Small Scale Industries Centre, As we have already Belgaum Material Testing Centre with NABL Approved for the betterment of MSME’s of North Karnataka as we want to upgrade it in to Machining Cluster it will help to Exporters as well as Small Scale Industries which funds estimate cost around Rs. 10.00 Crore.
  • Water supply to the Udyambag and Mache Industrial area
  • MSME Skill Development Centre required for women Entrepreneurs at Udyambag Belgaum to promote upcoming women entrepreneurs.
  • To announce 30% of Subsidy to new Entrepreneurs and Upgradation of Existing Units.
  • 4% Rate of Interest Loan Scheme to be Initiated by all Nationalised Banks to the Industries, as Presently only KSFC is providing the Loan with 4% Rate of Interest.
  • In an around Belagavi New Five Star Industrial areas to be Develop around which will Create More Entrepreneurship & Employment same way as Kolhapur , Pune  and Talegaon.
  • Rural Industrial Areas, which are Export oriented are deprived of Minimum Basic Amenities & there is no such Authority Concerned for Development of the same.
