*ವಿ ಟಿ ಯು ನಲ್ಲಿ “ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಗ್ರಂಥಪಾಲಕತ್ವ” ಕುರಿತು ಮೂರು ದಿನಗಳ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನ*

ಪ್ರಗತಿವಾಹಿನಿ ಸುದ್ದಿ, ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ: ವಿಶ್ವೇಶ್ವರಯ್ಯ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ (VTU), ಬೆಳಗಾವಿಯ ಶ್ರೀ ಎಸ್. ಜಿ. ಬಾಳೇಕುಂದ್ರಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಮೂಲಕ, “ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಗ್ರಂಥಪಾಲಕತ್ವ” ವಿಷಯದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮೂರು ದಿನಗಳ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನ (VTUNCEL-2025) ಅನ್ನು 22 ಜನವರಿ 2026ರಿಂದ ಡಾ. ಎ. ಪಿ. ಜೆ. ಅಬ್ದುಲ್ ಕಲಾಂ ಸಭಾಂಗಣ, ಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಂಗಮ ಕ್ಯಾಂಪಸ್, VTU, ಬೆಳಗಾವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಸಮಾರಂಭವು 22 ಜನವರಿ 2026ರಂದು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 10:30ಕ್ಕೆ ನಡೆಯಲಿದ್ದು, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಉತ್ತರ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಮಾಜಿ ಕುಲಪತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮಂಡಳಿ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಇದರ ಕಾರ್ಯಕಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಮಂಡಳಿ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ ಪ್ರೊ. ಟಿ. ಡಿ. ಕೆಂಪರಾಜು ಅವರು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಭಾಷಣವನ್ನು VTU ಕನ್ಸೋರ್ಟಿಯಂ ಸಲಹೆಗಾರರಾದ ಪ್ರೊ. ಮುಟ್ಟಯ್ಯ ಕೋಗನೂರಮಠ ಅವರು ನೀಡಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಈ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನಕ್ಕೆ ವಿಶ್ವೇಶ್ವರಯ್ಯ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ, ಬೆಳಗಾವಿಯ  ಕುಲಪತಿಗಳಾದ ಡಾ. ಎಸ್. ವಿದ್ಯಾಶಂಕರ್ ಅವರು ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆ ವಹಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮೂರು ದಿನಗಳ ನಡೆಯುವ ಈ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಬೇರೆ ಭಾಗಗಳಿಂದ ಸುಮಾರು ೨೦೦ಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಗ್ರಂಥಪಾಲಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಭಾಗವಹಸುತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟು ಎಂಟು ವಿಶೇಷ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಗಳಿದ್ದು ೭೨ ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಲೇಖನಗಳ ಮಂಡನೆಯಾಗಲಿವೆ.

VTU Hosts Three-Day National Conference on “Engineering Librarianship”

Eight Special Lectures and Presentation of 72 Research Papers will be taken place. 

Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, through its Shri S. G. Balekundri Central Library and Information Centre, is organizing a three-day National Conference on “Engineering Librarianship” (VTUNCEL-2025) from 22 January 2026 at the Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Auditorium, Jnana Sangama Campus, VTU, Belagavi.

The Inaugural Function will be held on 22 January 2026 at 10:30 a.m., and will be graced by Prof. T. D. Kemparaju, Former Vice-Chancellor, Bangalore North University, and Executive & General Council Member, Karnataka State Higher Education Council, Bengaluru, as the Chief Guest.

The Keynote Address will be delivered by Prof. Muttayya Koganuramath, Advisor, VTU Consortium, VTU, Belagavi.

The conference will be presided over by Dr. S. Vidyashankar, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. The three-day conference will witness participation from more than 200 librarians and Library & Information Science students from different parts of the country.

The conference will feature a total of eight special lectures, along with the presentation of 72 research papers.
