Pragativahini News, Belagavi : Constructed to help its community outstation girl students to get education in Belagavi by staying in hostel, the Reddi Bhavan will be inaugarated in Sadashiva Nagar on Jan 25.
Briefing to news persons about the bhavan, Belagavi District Reddi Sangha president Ramanna Mullur said the sangha was registered on March 22, 2017. The site was donated by late Bhimareddi Malali where four-storied posh building has come up.
The first floor has commercial blocks hired on monthly rental basis, second floor has a auditorium where programmers, meetings, could be conducted and the third and fourth floors will house the community girl students who wished to take up education here. Top two floors have 46 rooms where 2 girl students can share each room, he said.
The hostel has been constructed mainly to avoid the community rural girls from depriving continuing education in Belagavi, he said.
Vemananandswamy from Harihar will bless the programme. DCM Laxman Savadi, Minister Suresh Angadi, Congress leader S R Patil will attend the dedicating programme at 10.30am at Sadashiva nagar.
